Mazedan Transactions on Engineering Systems Design (MTESD) is being published Quarterly by Mazedan International Research Academy. It provides a high-quality, fully refereed international forum in the field of design engineering.
Journal welcomes all the articles compiled the research outcomes to new developments and approaches in optimizations, control, smart materials, structures design, and use of computer and IT tools for the development of engineering system come in the scope of this Journal.
Papers for the regular issues of the journal can be submitted, round the year, electronically through Mazedan Journal Management System (JMS) or Google Form. Paper will immediately be online after the final acceptance; however, the Volume, Issue, and DOI allocate later for which author will be intimated accordingly. For Theme Based Special Issues, time bound Special Call for Papers will be announced and the same will be applicable for that specific issue only.

The scope of the journal is system design using new approaches of Computer Science & Engineering, Information Technology, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Telecommunication, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, and all interdisciplinary streams of Engineering Sciences, to impart a platform for publishing results and research with a strong empirical component, to create a bridge for the significant gap between research and practice by promoting the publication of original, novel, industry-relevant research, to solicit original and unpublished research papers, based on theoretical or experimental works.

MTESD has a top-class editorial board, whose members belong to various universities, research laboratories, and industrial R&D centers all over the world. Editorial members are appointed on the basis of work experience and research background in a specific area covered by the journal.
Dr. Sunil Kumar Sharma has been voluntarily appointed as the Editor in Chief of Mazedan Transactions on Engineering Systems Design. He did his Master's from Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology Allahabad in Computer-Aided Design and Manufacturing. Dr. Sharma has done his doctorate from IIT Roorkee in the field of rail vehicle structure design and vibration control. He started his career at Titaghar wagon limited as a Manager in the passenger coach design deprtment. Dr. Sharma got the one-year Post-Doctoral fellowship at Changwon National University, where he carried out his research in the area of structural health monitoring using Ultrasonic at the Extreme Environment Smart Machinery Parts Design / Manufacturing Innovation Center of Changwon National University.
After returning from South Korea, Dr. Sharma joined the National Rail and Transportation Institute where he is currently working as a Research Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering. Dr. Sharma has a very strong research background, he has published more than 30 research articles in WoS and Scopus Indexed Journals. Dr. Sharma has undertaken several government research and consultancy projects.
The manuscript will be prepared as a single MS word file in two parts- Title Page and Manuscript File.The whole text, references, tables, and figure legends should be typed in 12 points (Times New Roman) font and 1.5-spaced throughout the word document of A4 size, 2.54 cm top, bottom, left, and right margins. All pages should be numbered consecutively starting with the title page. Manuscripts should be written in sound, clear and concise language. Capitalize only the first letter of the first word and any proper nouns or abbreviations that require capitalization. A concise and clear title should be centered at the top of page 1 of the manuscript followed by the author(s) name(s), affiliation(s), and address(es) and additional contact information (e-mail). All authors’ names should be given in full, not abbreviated / initials. Indication of other professional titles should not be used.
Part 1.Title Page- Title Page should contain an appropriate paper title and Author(s) name(s), address of the Institute(s)/Organisation(s), corresponding author address with phone, mobile, e-mail, and fax number.
Part 2.Manuscript File-should contain Title, Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Material & Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusion, Acknowledgement, References, Tables, Figures, and figure legends. This page should not contain the author's information.
§Paper Title- A concise and clear title should be centered at the top of page 1 of the manuscript followed by the authors details. Title should include the approach/model/methodology/parameters used in the research. A good title should contain between 10-20 words not exceeding 100 characters yet sufficiently descriptive and informative.
§Abstract-Abstract should be concise, clear and include an objective description of the contents and the major significant findings of the article. It should be in one paragraph, structured (aim/background, methods, results, conclusion) and strictly in range of 200-400 words.
§Keywords-At the end of abstract, list four to six keywords or phrases in alphabetical order, separated by commas.
§Introduction-Should reflect a brief background of the research and the purpose of its initiation. Extensive discussion of relevant literature and the gap must be highlighted in the Introduction part. All the references, figures, tables and equations must be cited in the paper body [1-2].
§Materials and Methods-A clear description or specific original reference is required for all procedures including statistical procedures.
§Results and Discussion-These can either be pooled together or presented under separate sections.
§Conclusion-The conclusion should be in one paragraph in range of 150-250 words .The outcomes and future scope of the work must be summarized in the conclusion section. The data quantification in % or as indices must be included in the conclusion part.
§Authors' Contributions-Contributions should be listed as a paragraph, clearly mention each author's contributions in the article.
§References-While preparing the manuscript, the references should be mentioned (cited) with names, examples: (Hadgkiss and Renzaho, 2014), (Yuan et al., 2017), Blanco et al. (2014) and provide a list of references at the end of the article in the following style. Author may free to use the IEEE/APA/MLA/Harvard reference/citation style.

§Fonts, Paragraphs, formatting style- The following points must be read.
§Section- All the section heads/titles (including references) will be of Times New Roman, Bold, 12 Fonts in Capital and Left Aligned, (e.g. :1 Introduction, 2. Material & Methods, 3. Results, 4. Discussion, 5. Conclusion, Acknowledgement, References, Tables, Figures and figure legends) with numbering.
§Text- All the entire texts will be in MS Word, Times New Roman, 12 Fonts, 1.5 Spaced, and in single-column format.
§Section/page break- No section or page break must be added in the manuscript file and unnecessary space must not use in the paper.
§Subsections- All the subsections will be of Times New Roman, 12 Fonts, First, Bold in Small letters. The subsection of a subsection may be italic-bold.
§Figures, Table & Equations- All Tables and Figures titles will be in Times New Roman, 12 Fonts, bold, and placed below and centered with the tables and figures. The figures, tables and equations should have numbering (e.g.: Fig. -1: ____ , Table-1: ____ ). All the figures, tables, and equations must be cited in the text and only high-quality figures will be accepted.Tables and equations must not be in the image file.
§Ethical guidelines: Research papers dealing with experiments on human or animal subjects must state in the Material & Methods section that: (i) informed and free consent was obtained from the participants/patients/relatives of the patients/parents or legal guardians of minors and should attach the ethical clearance certificate from the institution/organization or similar committee/ agency; and (ii) the maintenance and care of the experimental animals is as per the guidelines for use of laboratory animals in research specified by the Animal Ethics Committee of the Institute/Organisation.

§Manuscript can be submitted in docs (MS word file). Author can access the relevant submission system via the SUBMIT Button Given at the bottom of this page.
§The manuscript size must be under the 6000 Word count or 30 pages.
§Once submitted, your paper will be considered by the editor and if it passes initial screening, it will be sent for peer review by experts in your field. If deemed unsuitable for publication in your chosen journal, the editor may suggest you transfer your submission to a more suitable journal, via an article transfer service.
V- Manuscript Review and Publication:
§Editorial review and publication: All manuscripts are reviewed by a panel of subject experts in each discipline and also by the Editorial Board. Peer reviewer and author identities are kept confidential to solicit unbiased comments. The articles are accepted only after the recommendation by the reviewers and the Editorial Board. The corresponding author is responsible for scientific accuracy and statements expressed in the article.
§The authors have to sign a declaration form and copy right form before publication in the journal.
